Synopsis
Report about the endeavors of local residents against gentrification and for basic democracy through citizens participation in the city planning process. Activists explain the problems that the Government and private sector create through the Urban Renewal process for the community living in the area of Wan Chai, with an example of the Lee Tung Street conflict.  Further highlights include the struggles against the removal of the old Queen´s and Star Ferry Pier in Hong Kong´s Victoria Harbour, which included a hunger strike.
